Dear Jackie,
I want to thank you for your work over the past few months, helping me with my equipment business and my rental properties.
I sincerely appreciate your bookkeeping assistance and your personal interest in my businesses. Before you arrived, I was quite overwhelmed with trying to take care of the books and at the same time operate the businesses. For awhile I was back-logged to the point of incurring late charges from some of my suppliers because I failed to pay my bills on time. Because of your ongoing assistance, a great load has been lifted off my shoulders. Thanks again.
Congratulations on your ribbon-cutting for Gitman & Associates! Based on my experience, I believe you will have many satisfied customers.
Sincerely,
Stan Fischer

I would like to recommend the services of Gitman & Associates.
Skyway Feed & Pet Supply had been seeking the services of a bookkeeper/office manager. I had attempted to describe the requirements of the position and interview prospective employees without success. I then tried the services of a traditional employment agency also without success.
I saw Jackie's flyer in the Chamber of Commerce Newsletter and decided to give her a call. I charged her with the responsibility of defining the job, writing a job description, advertising, interviewing, testing and performing background checks of prospective employees. Jackie delved into the task and after about two weeks of advertising and conducting countless interviews, she introduced three prospective employees to us, all of whom possessed the necessary skills to do the job.
Our time investment was reduced to three, 15-minute interviews! With test scores and recommendations defining the abilities of the applicants, we were interviewing for a "personality fit only" rather than ability.
I found Jackie to be fair, trustworthy and hard working. She certainly proved to be an asset to Skyway Feed & Pet and I feel certain her skills far exceed the job she performed for us.

Dear Jackie:
Congratulations on the launch of your new business!
Your decades of experience in managing organizations requiring the full range of business acumen and expertise certainly position you well to offer assistance to others.
Over the years, we have been greatly impressed with your leadership talents and with the technical expertise you possess on such an extensive range of financial issues, including federal, state, and corporate financing. Your many years of experience in human resources, including the hiring – and, where necessary, the termination – of individuals as well as your perspectives on counseling business leaders through the process of working with high potential and challenging staff members all constitute the kind of experience we suspect your clients will find especially valuable.
We have always viewed you as a leader among our 28 state organizations because of those skills and, very importantly, because of your ability to address the technical issues as well as the bigger picture from a strategic standpoint. Those leadership traits are also obvious in your ability to devise a plan to get “from here to where we want to be.”
Perhaps most important to us has been your tough-minded honesty and integrity in all of your dealings with us, your Board of Directors, your staff, and the many businesses with which you have worked.
We plan to call upon you for assistance to our affiliates as circumstances warrant, given your experience and expertise in so many areas of importance to for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
Please don’t hesitate to use us as a reference for potential clients.
All the best!
Ken Smith, President
Jobs for America's Graduates
For the past six years, I have known and worked with Jackie Gitman in my capacity as chairman of Jobs for California Graduates, the state affiliate of Jobs for America's Graduates, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to working with at risk high school students to enable them to graduate and find a sustained place in the local workforce.
As president of Jobs for California Graduates (JCG), Jackie Gitman has done an outstanding job of leading and running our state program, including hiring staff, securing state WIA grants, and overseeing each local school program to ensure compliance with JCG standards. Her annual reviews from our state Board of Directors have been excellent.
As a general endorsement, based on my own experience working with her, I would certainly endorse Jackie Gitman and her firm, Gitman & Associates, for any relevant management or consulting work for which she might be considered. In addition to having high personal and professional integrity, she is also an extremely diligent and hard working individual, with a strong sense of purpose and responsibility, as well as sound fiscal strengths.
My endorsement of Ms. Gitman's overall professionalism and capabilities is without reservation.
Sincerely,
Joe Griesedieck, Vice Chair
