California : Jobs for America's Graduates
Dear Jackie:
Congratulations on the launch of your new business!
Your decades of experience in managing organizations requiring the full range of business acumen and expertise certainly position you well to offer assistance to others.
Over the years, we have been greatly impressed with your leadership talents and with the technical expertise you possess on such an extensive range of financial issues, including federal, state, and corporate financing. Your many years of experience in human resources, including the hiring – and, where necessary, the termination – of individuals as well as your perspectives on counseling business leaders through the process of working with high potential and challenging staff members all constitute the kind of experience we suspect your clients will find especially valuable.
We have always viewed you as a leader among our 28 state organizations because of those skills and, very importantly, because of your ability to address the technical issues as well as the bigger picture from a strategic standpoint. Those leadership traits are also obvious in your ability to devise a plan to get “from here to where we want to be.”
Perhaps most important to us has been your tough-minded honesty and integrity in all of your dealings with us, your Board of Directors, your staff, and the many businesses with which you have worked.
We plan to call upon you for assistance to our affiliates as circumstances warrant, given your experience and expertise in so many areas of importance to for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
Please don’t hesitate to use us as a reference for potential clients.
All the best!
Ken Smith, President
